Maui Pineapple Company of Maui, Hawaii, send a thank you card and 100 Maui Gold pineapples to the University of Hawaii football team.

Warriors to sign an oversized card, thanking the team for the “Sweetest of Seasons” and 2007 WAC Championship. Over 100 people signed the card at their booth in Spectator Village at the Mercedes-Benz Championship this past weekend. The card will accompany a shipment of Maui Gold pineapple for the football team.

Hoping to ease January’s disappointing events, the card said, “We are Proud of Our U.H. Warriors.” Sentiments ranged from “We’re so proud,” to “Thanks so much” to even a proposal that says, “I love you, Colt--will you marry me?”

“Over 100 specially hand-picked, premium Maui Gold® pineapples will be sent to the U.H.
