Moore's Reminders for Math is a set of 3"x5" index cards held together by a ring that provides quick references to math procedures. They are color-coded, arranged simply and logically and are a tool that Moore says helps those math procedures stick in the minds. Students are encouraged to use the cards when working problems. It is the very repetition that makes it work.
Moore's passion for her mission springs from her own difficulties in childhood with dyslexia. "When I was young I couldn't read. I never thought I could be successful." After attending the Dyslexia Foundation she blossomed. She is fervent about getting students to grasp math and they have great success with the cards.
