Beaches of South Walton, FL (PRWeb) February 26, 2007 -- The annual Seabreeze Jazz Festival will be held April 13th-15th at the Gulf Place Amphitheater, a location previous attendees have voted "The Best Jazz Festival Venue." This outdoor amphitheater is located in the quaint community of Gulf Place on Santa Rosa Beach, one of the many beautiful beach communities in Beaches of South Walton . The three-day festival begins on Friday night at 6:00pm and will continue all day on Saturday and Sunday.



This year, the Seabreeze Jazz Festival will host more jazz artists than ever before with an expanded lineup of performances. During the weekend, Rafe Gomez, New York City disc jockey and host of the Seabreeze radio "The Groove Boutique," will spin his special mix of smooth jazz hits and feature special guest artist to "jam" live on stage. This new and exciting concept in live entertainment has been dubbed "The Smooth Jazz Mash Up" and this is the first time it has been featured at a live festival event. Some of the artists in the "Smooth Jazz Mash Up" lineup include Jones and Company, Down to the Bone, Nick Colionne, Urban Jazz Coalition, Mindi Abair and Steve Oliver.

Special guitar and sax performances will be provided by Gerald Albright, Kirk Whalum, Jeff Golub, and Tim Bowman, and a "Jazz Attack" will feature Richard Elliot, Rick Braun, Peter White, and Jonathan Butler. A Smooth Jazz Gospel Sunday Brunch performance with Christian Smooth Jazz Saxman, Michael Thomas, has also been added to the lineup this year.
