IndUShealth to Offer Global Healthcare Options to New Michigan Health Care Firm
IndUShealth's hospital network emerges as a unique global health care option as medical tourism trend evolves to capture the interest of U.S. corporate decision makers. Raleigh, NC (PRWeb) February 8, 2007 -- IndUShealth, Inc., a Raleigh, North Carolina-based company offering lower-cost health care in Indian hospitals for American patients, has entered into an agreement with a new Michigan company that will assist with the firm's growing interest in overseas health care options.

Global Health Administrators, Inc. (GHA) of Madison Heights, Michigan has assigned IndUShealth to coordinate the company's overseas health care initiative and will back the effort with a multi-million dollar line of financing.

GHA will seek to take best advantage of lower-cost health care opportunities, specifically the India-based medical centers which work closely with IndUShealth.

IndUShealth President Tom Keesling said, "This arrangement makes us the global health care partner for GHA. The firm represents the most significant investment to date in global health care benefit options for corporations."

Keesling continued, "The huge cost savings associated with medical care in India have attracted the attention of many companies around the U.S. This partnership with GHA is an opportunity to bring the unique strengths of the Indian health care system directly to a U.S. corporation. IndUShealth is pleased to offer a wide range of innovative programs that build upon the principles of medical tourism to address corporate health care benefit needs."

John Simmons, President of GHA, commented, "We have been looking closely at global health care options as one way to reduce costs for our clients and customers, while retaining top quality. We believe that accessing the technologically advanced facilities and cost effective care that the Indian health care providers offer is one of the answers."

Keesling said, "IndUShealth's main value to GHA is our ability to help employee health plan participants thoroughly evaluate the option of receiving high-quality medical care in India and to seamlessly coordinate all aspects of their experience including pre-operative consultation with their overseas doctors, travel, communications, treatment, payment and follow-up back home. Employees who opt to receive medical treatment overseas may often receive generous financial incentives as a result of the sizable savings realized by their employers."

IndUShealth, founded in 2005, serves as the critical link between several of India's finest medical centers and Americans considering overseas care. Typically, these are uninsured individuals needing highly-complex medical procedures at costs dramatically lower than in the United States and offered at U.S. Joint Commission-accredited centers in India.

Additionally, IndUShealth has experienced strong growth in institutional interest and has been offering what it calls "an attractive global healthcare option" to corporations, insurance companies, and private/state government health plans. The link with GHA is an outgrowth of the corporate marketing effort by the Raleigh firm.

Rajesh Rao, Chief Executive Officer of IndUShealth, commented, "Gaining access to affordable health care is already a huge issue in the U.S. and we want to help solve it. Americans need less expensive, but high-quality health care alternatives. Corporate health care plans are outstanding candidates for our services."

Rao added, "Our innovations provide employers a way to offset the rapid growth in costs, perhaps even helping companies avoid workforce reductions that they may otherwise be forced to consider."

IndUShealth has existing agreements with Apollo Hospitals, Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre, Max Hospitals and Wockhardt Hospitals, all of which offer world-class super-specialty hospitals located in major metropolitan centers in India.
