About Sarah Kelly
Sarah Kelly's artistic decree may be the best way to describe her sophomore album, the Grammy-nominated "Where the Past Meets Today." Produced by uber-hard rock legend Mike Clink (Guns `N Roses), it emerges from a mild-mannered daughter of a children's Pastor from Rockford, Il., who is already prominently established on the contemporary Christian music scene. Though Sarah may speak in a sweetly polite fashion, she unflinchingly rips into song with one of the most distinctively raw and visceral voices this side of Janis.
Clink produced, recorded and mixed "Where the Past Meets Today", bringing an eclectic variety of featured musicians onboard including Chris Chaney (Jane's Addiction), Nick Lashley (Alanis Morissette) and GNR icon, Slash.
Sarah had already built a formidable fanbase for an indie artist with her 2004 Grammy-nominated Gotee debut, "Take Me Away," which moved 80,000 units (25,000 sold out of the trunk of her car) through tireless live performance (260 shows per year for 5 years).
