"This is certainly a great weekend for our players," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker's property manager. "This is one of the busiest two-day periods I've seen at our poker room, especially with the buzz that the Everest Poker Avalanche has been generating."
The Everest Poker Avalanche is a series of daily and weekly tournaments that will culminate in an online finale to be held on 17 September, 2007 at 15:00 GMT. The final ten players from this online finale win a trip to play at a live final table at a secret location for their share of a $1,000,000 guaranteed prize.
Buy-in for the first event, a $100,000 guaranteed holdem poker tournament, is $100+9 or 25000.00 + 2250.00 Summit Points. The Round 3 Everest Poker Avalanche event buy-in is $530+30 . To play in the weekly $30,000 guaranteed tournaments, players will have to buy-in with $100+9 or by using 1 x Everest Poker Gold Token + $9. Buy-in for this event is also available using the poker room's Summit Points - 25000.00 + 2250.
"We're tremendously excited about this weekend, for obvious reasons," May added. "Some of our best poker players are going to be hitting the tables and the play is going to be fantastic."
