Numerous North Carolina companies in the Triangle and Triad areas submitted innovative human resource best practices for the first annual award. Award winners, based on employee size, won the award due to innovative human resource best practices including human capital management strategy (CIIT Centers for Health Research), improving employee health (Novozymes North America), and employee engagement (PPD, Inc.). Nominations for the Ovation Award for HR Excellence were open to local companies in the Triangle and Triad area.
"Truly outstanding human resource best practices are taking place every day in our local workplaces. We created this award to recognize innovative human resource best practices that make a positive impact on businesses and employees lives," said Bruce Clarke, CEO and president, CAI.
